CHINA : China is called Zhongguo in Chinese. The term is commonly translated into English as "Middle Kingdom", but is also sometimes translated as "Central Kingdom". Confucianism was the official philosophy throughout most of Imperial China's history. As of mid-2007, China is the world's largest and most populous country with just over 1.3 billion people (1,321,851,888).
