The Great Wall of China
I have heard from my parents about China and their great wall. It got me wondering what they really looks like and do they live up to the hype.
The great wall of China is claimed to be "the mightiest work of man, the only one that would be visible to the human eye from the moon," and Richard Halliburton's 1938 book 'Second Book of Marvels' makes a similar claim. Do you believe that?
Through the history channel, i've heard that they used to be the "Ultimate Defence" that protects them during the ancient war. It made me wonder just how strong and reliable those walls are. From the image below you can see that the wall are really long and quite tall.
